  • Yellow "stuff" on my gooseberries bushes

Hi there, was wondering if any one has any ideas about what is growing on my gooseberry bushes. The bushes are starting to bud and look fine but two of them have a crusty yellow growth on the stems? Any ideas what it might be and how to treat it? Many thanks for any advice

Sounds like lichen to me too. I wouldn't worry too much. It's a sign of clean air!
