will hopefully feel my pain.
I got home on Tuesday night to see LadyWayne walking down the road from the train station with her parents and Bean.
I pulled up on the drive and LadyWayne's Mum said sheepishly to me "Wayne, I've got a bit of a confession to make" whilst LW's Dad was smiling from ear to ear (he knew the PF story). LadyWayne said that she's no idea what her Mum is about to say, so we both look worried - you know how your mind races when someone says something like that.
Ok, what's broken?
"I may have made a bit of a booboo" she (LW's Mum) says.
"I might have gotten you two tickets to see Pink Floyd"
"A joke, surely?" I say.
Meanwhile LW's Dad is turning bright red with laughter.
It turns out, that LW's Mum works with a dude who does a bit of photography and Pink Floyd are playing at the Sheffield Arena (not sure if it's Hallam or Don Valley), and he's doing some photography for the event.
She said something along the lines of "Oooh, I'll be the favourite Mother-in-Law if you can do that for me" to the photographer dude.
When she told LW's dad, he nearly had a fit.
So, I might have two tickets coming my way to see Pink Floyd!
Needless to say, we won't be going.
