  • Own up- what was your impulse purchase today then???

Come on folks- help me feel 'normal'!!!

OK so I went out to get some carrot seeds- and I spotted some lambs lettuce seeds which we usually grow- so that part was fine!

BUT...how come I also came home with 4 lavender and a Globe Artichoke plant aswell??:ee( AND a tray of celeriac plugs!!!)
..nope - they're not on the plan for this year

Please tell me I'm 'normal' ( for a Grape) by confessing your impulse purchases over the next few weeks!!!

( we only nipped in for the carrot seeds!!!!)

I bought from a charity shop a pair of XXL Animal swim shorts for my OH. He will be eighty on Monday and I want to give him the joie de vivre for as long as possible.

Hmmm I went shopping at Sainsburys today...and NEARLY bought some pears, but then saw they came from far far away and put them back. Pity cos I just fancied some
So have been good today....so far....but have not been on ebay yet!!

I went to get a flapjack at the coffee shop today and came away with not just a flap jack, but a hot chocolate too.

I am the clear winner so far! My Dad is visiting for a few days from tomorrow and we both like our grub (and drink!). I only meant to get a few last bits and pieces but it seems that Mr Sainsbury somehow managed to relieve me of over £80. Ooops!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

It was so hot out there in the car - my wing mirror sensor registered 20 degrees this afternoon - so I think the growing season is well and truly here.
                    GC tomorrow then!

Amateurs the lot of you! You wanna try working in a bleeding garden centre!!!!! This week, four white dicentra, several bags of compost, more tomato seeds, (really dont need them) and eying up most of the rest all day.

Actually written down that is quite restrained isn't it? Maybe I should buy some more stuff?

I hope you get a staff discount Fifi - I'd definitely need one if i worked in a GC. Our local independent one was recruiting a while back. I resisted temptation.
