Today, intended to get a sarnie for lunch. Ended up with a new Cannon SLR
    Eeeeek!
Mr BP isn't home yet so I'm trying to decide whether to 'fess or hide it

        I bought a 12" stuffed-crust Hot Shot pizza!

Now that I'm allowed cheese again it seemed like the best way to celebrate

Mine was a £1.49 Rhubarb plant in a 8inch pot from my local veg shop, hopefully by next summer I'll have enough to make Flummerys rhubarb and orange jelly.

After being reminded on the Edible Garden thread, Have been sorely tempted to buy River cottage's Preserves book AND re-order N. Slater's Fruit book....but have been very good so far...

ah yes, i found the 45p (I lurve reduction time) ginger cake that I've now stashed in the freezer.

and the £3.49 boots meal deal.

Tomorrow I may splash out on some dried peas

A full tank of diesel in the motor totaling £120!! Wouldn't really call it an impulse buy but if I didn't do it I couldn't drive it...

Definitely. But even I couldn't eat it all!

Not that AND the bar of Fruit & Nut (Which has also just come off my banned list)

Nothing today but went to Tesco yesterday for bread and milk and came out with a lovely 2 stem Paleonopsis ('scuse spelling) orchid in just the right colours for our sitting room. Fortunately it was reduced to half price (I refuse to pay full price for my orchids).

I reasoned it to Madmax by saying I haven't had a car to drive for nearly 3 weeks so it used up some of the petrol money I have saved
