You sound really positive Ollie, it must be a huge release to be off dialysis and I bet not having to restrict your fluid has had a big impact. It must be rotten not being paid when you're off sick, hope you're insured.

Not insured, but I've saved quite a bit and don't have any dependants so it's easy enough.
Yes, nice to be off a fluid restriction, but now I'm on a fluid compulsion! I have to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Something to do with it being bad for transplanted kidneys to get dehydrated.
It's not tough drinking that much, it's just keeping track.

It's not tough drinking that much, it's just keeping track.
Buy a 2 litre bottle of water from the supermarket. If you prefer tap water, then empty it and re-fill from the tap. Keep it in the fridge and pour as needed (seems easier than making a list of each and every drink you take during the day). Good luck with it, and so glad you're on the mend.
