My dearest is 80 on Monday 12th. He is such a special person that we (family) need to make it special too. He never asks for anything, moans or groans or is ever grumpy. He doesn't like fuss or presents so although in this respect he is a pain in the proverbial what can we do to make the occasion special?
I was having a sleepless night musing this problem when 'eureka'. As our family has grown we have sometimes joked about having our own football team. Well that's it folks!!. The kids have ganged together to form our own football team. The pics were taken last week (in all the cold and freezing weather) and the presentation will be on Sunday at the family get together at our place.

I was thinking of something a bit smaller ( my son used to have one 12x18")....but Argos sell them- and perfect - cos it's for over 6yr olds!!!!
