I hadn't seen the news before leaving this morning. We have two visitors in the office today who are due to fly out this evening. They're currently trying to book alternatives.

            Mad.

I have to say Heathrow has gone a bit quiet now - either they are taking off and landing in a different direction or lots of flights have been cancelled. They are usually landing every few seconds.

All London Airports have been closed.

Doesn't tell you that on the BAA website, but is does on the BA one. No services after 11:30am.

Seems like all UK airports are closing. Just goes to show the prevailing wind direction at the moment - all part of our chilly weather.

Yeah, but think of what good all that ash will do for the plants.
