I started watching it but got a bit fed up when they weren't allowed to fully answer the questions. Plus it was the same old Bill Shut being ping-ponged back and forth. I agreed with the limited time allowed for each but thought it was a bit TOO limited, maybe 2 minutes each would have been better.
Personally I think that they all have good ideas and it is a pity we cant have them all working together to run the country.

Got to say, I think Cleggy did well. I too was very surprised that DC didn't do better. I would have thought it was his natural platform, and that he would have excelled.

The format was not a great one for GB.

I couldn't stop myself (unfairly) comparing it to the Obama/McCain debates though - they were gripping.

Good one BM. I love listening to the body language experts.
And it put into words what I perceived without realising it.

I avoided watching the session on TV because I'm fed up with it all already - have been for years!!!

Life's too short to be getting worked up about it, they'll do what they want anyways. That's only my view, I don't have any evidence to support my comment........

When Blair took over and they dropped Clause 4 and Labour turned into social democrats rather than socialists - and he's been 'made over' and given serious advice on what to wear apparently.

I stated to watch it - I'm a real politico and always have been - and after 10 minutes decided for the sake of my blood pressure and to protect the tele we recently bought, I should turn it over which I duly did. By that time J, who is also very political had fallen asleep.

We're still registered to vote in the UK but who we're going to vote for this time is a debatable point!

I enjoyed the programme as TV entertainment.
I felt Clegg shone, Brown seemed to be enjoying himself for the first time in a dog's age.
The real surprise was how Cameron seemed ill at ease throughout.

I look at it this way Tony it's not who I want to win but who I don't want to win.

I was really surprised this morning to hear reports that Clegg had won the debate and Cameron wasn't good. When I was watching it I didn't feel any of them had landed any serious blows on the others.
