      • As I have just found the 2lbs I had lost, I'm giving up today. Getting fed up anyway, so feel like a break. Bit deflated really, so I am going to treat myself starting with a bacon buttie.

        • Breakfast:- 2 eggs, 3 thick rashers of bacon, 1/4lb mushrooms, all fried together in dripping! Yum Yum

Lunch:- left over bolognaise sauce from last night (no pasta) and a large tin of Cannellini beans.

Tea/Supper:- To be determined yet, but maybe a lump of steak/chicken breast with a salad doused in dressing!

Excercise:- don't need any.......... as I walk miles every day as part of my job!

Tea/supper was a mahoosive chunk of grilled sirloin with parsnips (are parsnips 'carby'?) and asparagus! )............... Oh and a bag of roasted salted cashew nuts!

Brekky was 3 eggs and 5 rashers, cooked in butter!!!!!! Lunch is leftover Curry.

Dinner will be, probably a big fat steak, if I get my arris to the Butcher.

            • Today I have eaten:

              Beans on Toast
Bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown and mushrooms
Red pepper and sweet potato soup
              Smoked chicken sandwich and salad

And that's all within my diet plan, and I haven't even had tea yet....

                • The time I had some success with Atkins (living alone at the time) I used to make a BIG pot of curry or chilli, and instead of eating it with rice, I used steamed white cabbage (finely shredded and then cooked to still crisp).
This worked quite well, but remember that beans DO contain a certain amount of starch.....

                  • Been resisting coming onto this thread since it started, but seeing as I bought a new set of bathroom scales yesterday, got on them this morning and spent the whole day going,"HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP!!" every time I thought about how much I weigh, I'm biting the bullet.
Diet started. The plan. Lean meat and veggies. Minimal carbs. Cut alcohol. Power walk at least two miles a day.
All this on top of giving up the fags! (Smoke free 42 days). Life's not gonna be worth living!

                          • I've discovered a wonderful weightloss tool. His name is Shadow!
What with the attention he demands, the improvement in my mood (so less risk of comfort eating) and the calories burned by laughing at his antics, I'm sure this week's weightloss is 50% diet, 50% Shadow!
