Buy/make him some snazzy braces! Well done to him for his weight-loss though, that is quite an achievement, considering he 'didn't have a weight problem!'

Well done to you for all the meal-making and support too!

                Hahaha!

Actually, I cleaned the house (vacuum, change bed, do washing & put it out, vac/mop/dry kitchen floor, clean bathroom), but I didn't say as I thought you'd take the p*ss & say it was the first time I'd cleaned the house in a month!

Actually, I also cleared some boxes out the attic room so whizzed up & down 2 flights of stairs a million times, but I put that sort of stuff down to just living your life.

                • I was hungry today, which is unusual: actual tummy rumbles. Had about 4 cereal bars for lunch, pasta salad (and beer) for dinner. 4 hrs weeding on lotty for exercise

                  • 4 hours weeding is quite hard work! You feeling better T_S?

I had a lovely dinner - portion was too big but its a lot smaller than usual. I'm getting there, I think. Off to work tomorrow, gonna cycle in (2.5m) then head to the pool afterwards for 40 lengths, then cycle home (3.5m). Plus throw in any walks we do at work tomorrow and housework at work, then housework at home...gonna be on my feet all day!

                    • I managed not to snack between breakfast and lunch (rare for me) as had porridge with banana on and then was out all morning. Met a friend in a cafe and she had a large hot choc and a flapjack - I JUST HAD A POT OF TEA!!!!!!!!! Feeling v proud of that one

Had one slice of bread for lunch (now cutting them with pre-determined size slicer thingie) and can of ww soup.

Pushed no2 son in the buggy up the hill (instead of making him walk as usual so it was faster and better exersize for me) to pick up no 1 son, and worked in the garden all afternoon and after the school run. Chased them about the garden and lost the race to a 6 yr old... Must Try Harder lol

Not had an alcoholic drink today or yesterday, despite their being half a bottle in the fridge. Have got to give up alcohol for the IVF.

All in all a good day

AND I have already cut up and clinged some carrot sticks and apple for tomorrow snacks

No, it's quite light work, and I take rest breaks every half hour. The stretching and bending is good for my back - the very worst thing is for me to be sat in a chair doing nothing

                        • True - I quite like weeding, its theraputic. An old neighbour once said to me on one of those awkward sunday morning over-the-fence conversations 'oh, not up to much, just weeding' and did a sad face. I said, semi jokingly, that I liked weeding and wished I had a garden to weed, to which he replied 'come and do my garden if you like!'

I wish I took him up on the offer, its nice to be outdoors stretching about amongst the plants. If I had a garden, I'd probably do with it what I sometimes do my my house - let it get really messy, then spend all day cleaning it so it feels extra clean

Janeyo - well done on the booze ban, your doing well if its already opened in the fridge

                              • Good work hazel half a stone is a good bit of weight!

I cycled to and from work today (6 miles) and went swimming (20 laps) I have a horrible chesty cough that won't budge though and wasn't feeling great this morning, but ploughed on.

Had a cereal bar, soy yog and banana for brekkie
some nuts and raisins with a few choc chips (a few - honest!)
                                salad for lunch
and gonna have a lovely stir fry for dinner - tofu, endame beans, PSB and other veggies with some noodles. Gonna have the leftovers in a miso soup tomorrow night

Does anyone else struggle cooking home cooked meals just for one? I live with lots of people and OH, but he lives in london 3 days a week so I tend to cook too much when he's not here...but am writing down what I am allowed to eat a few days in advance so I can plan for leftovers.
