Yeah, most of them will adjust if you wiggle about a bit!
Our nes scales are electronic, once the figure comes up, that is it unless you get off, wait for the numbers to vanish, and start all over again. Sometimes we can try 4 times and get 4 different answers, varying by 5lb or so. I just keep trying until I get the same answer twice, and try very hard to stand the same position every time.

            • Week 7, day 1 (day 43)

              Breakfast: 1 toast, jam
              Lunch: 1 toast, beans, bacon
              Dinner: skinny lamb goulash, veg

Exercise: walk to baths, swim 24 lengths in 20 mins. Why haven't I done this before? Not only do I like swimming very much indeed, the baths are a 8-10 min walk away, and swimming is FREE at the council baths for B'ham residents under a healthy living scheme.

Downside: baths not as 'nice' as private gym pool; woke up with sore throat this morning...

              • Well since my first hypno session (about 10 days ago), I have lost 5 pounds on the home scales.
                Got my second session today.
Still no snacking and still not drinking.
Went out to lunch at a friends house on sunday - I did the driving so couldn't drink. I only had one after dinner choc - this is NOT like me at all LOL

                        • It occured to me that it might be good to have a thread dedicated to our own 'lower calorie' recipes. I have one for a cake (made it up, it worked, intending to improve for next time) that can be eaten as a pud. Low fat, moderate sugar and starch, tasty.

All diets aren't based on 'calories intake' and low fat though? I enjoy my butter, cream, lard, dripping, peanut butter, belly pork etc etc.

I agree though, that flavourful, lower calorie recipes would interest me to some extent.
