        Mentor - Mental more like! Think I may make up for badness by not being able to eat tonight! I had a dental appointment and an injection at 4.30 and I still can't feel anything!

        • Well, I've well and truly fallen off every wagon I was on this week My exercise has all gone to pot due to little'un being off school and only having 45 mins before himself goes to work to do the dog-walk. The lab has lost my latest bloods, so the hoped for increase in thyroxine hasn't happened, and 3 attempts at a proper dinner have failed miserably for various reasons, so we've ended up eating rubbish like takeaway and chicken burgers And I'm horribly bored with my course, fed-up, and generally 'meh'. Pass the chocolate someone

            Honestly Snadge , weight loss is better gradual. The faster you lose it the faster you put it back on when you stop dieting .....Unless of course you actually have it surgically removed

              • Right I have to get this diet thing going, so today I have had
                2 cups of coffee with semi milk and one sweetner ( made with water )
                One ryvita with olive spread.
                Three ryvita ( seeds ) with low fat philly. ( no spread )
                small amount of peanuts ( shouldnt have )
                one weight watchers carrot slice cake.
                Tell me how I am doing each day please, wont be offended if some one tells me I am going wrong.
                For tea I am having a weight watchers meal. ( going cheap shop closing down )
                Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
                and ends with backache

                      • Am having a bit of a meh week too... can't start running again until next week, so am missing a big chunk of exercise.

                        My teatimes haven't been too bad, but lunch at work has been dreadful, even when I've taken it in, I've ended up eating rubbish (as well as the good stuff!)

                        Must.Try.Harder.

                          • Hmmm - may have to visit Sainsbugs! My local Butcher has a good Deli counter, and sells lovely Cheeses. It's great because it saves me going to the supermarket for weeks. I have asked him, but he refuses to stock Gin or Tonic!

                              Brutally honest? I don't like WW stuff, nor Ryvita (overpackaged, overpriced). The carrot cake isn't filling, I'd rather have a small bowl of granola cereal.
                              Ryvita tastes like cardboard: again, I'd rather have a small portion of something tasty
                              Peanuts are high in fat, you'd be better with almonds.

                              Fill yourself up with veg - I like chilli sauce or pickles on mine to spice them up a bit.

                              • Hey Snadge - didn't do too badly considering - down three lbs and down to 38.4 on the BMI.

                                I need to get back in to "the zone". The Zone(if thats not too faffy) is achieved after about three days of doing the diet solidly with no deviations, hesitations or abbreviations LOL I think to myself - I only have to get through today.. and I think the same the next day too (and the day after)! Makes it feel manageable!

                                Right.... back on form this week!
