Spose theoretically I could still catch you yet as my weigh in day ain't til Sunday.

Well done you though. You've done incredibly well and you're becoming a bit of an inspiration for me to keep going! (It's starting to bite now though, if you'll excuse the pun!)

That's the easy bit, now you have to keep it off.
Are you debating between a) smaller portions or b) no carbs...?

      Terrific, both of you

I've been eating a small bowl of Honey Nut flakes for brek and for lunch, and a normal dinner.
I've been dogwalking at the rescue centre for 2 days this week, and I tried a bit of a run on my dodgy knee - I'm pleased to say it's not popped either, so maybe I can go back to my running regime after all (my knee got knackered when a car hit me 18 mths ago)

I think I may need to join in...I lost a fair bit towards the end of last year through stress(I find I can't cope with a proper meal but snack little and often)...unfortunately,even though I'm now eating proper meals I'm still also having the very frequent energy snacks(OK chocolate)
I won't put my weight but I think I need to lose about 20 lbs.
Will be done by cutting out the snacks and upping my exercise.

You may well catch me up Snadge! Although I have only been going two weeks...

Competition IS healthy though so lets for it! No biting me back though you'll leave tooth marks!

First week in 8 weeks I haven't put any on! Stayed the same though - but that IS better than putting on

The no carb option is the way I'm going at the mo! Just had an Atkins kebab with salad (No pita bread)!

Big row with Wotsit last night so I went to bed with no dinner. Feel slimmer already

This week has been a bit weird for me...Hospital told me to abandon the diet this week, to ensure I keep my strength up/recover etc. They recommended a couple of high-fat, high-calcium meals after the donation; and not to diet too strictly...

However, I've not gone mad with it, and am trying to keep a decent balance.

I can't do any strenuous exercise this week either, so going for a run is out. Basically I've been told to sit on my backside and eat for the week!

Aren't rows just the best way to shed a few pounds?!

I remembered I was cutting back first thing and had a bowl of All Bran for brekkie...however forgot mid morning when faced with a choice of Bourbon Cream or Digestive biccie...I chose both

I guess I'd better go pick a fight with someone. Feeling flat (no, not fat, although I could if I put my mind to it), only half a pound off this week and I've been really, really good. Have looked at WW card from years ago (how sad and desperate is that?) and it does indicate a slow start to the weight loss, so that's encouraging I suppose.

                          Don't feel disheartened FF.
Not sure if there's any scientific proof to my thoughts...more likely to disagree with them...but for what it's worth I think that although weekly weigh ins CAN really motivate you to keep going,I think monthly are more accurate in the long run...us girlies have lots of fluctuations in the course of a month
Also,do you always weigh at the same time...I can gain almost 7lbs in the course of a day.....1st thing in the morning after I've done a pee is my preferred time.

                          Keep going.xxx

Good day here, really busy with a school trip: porridge brekky, banana & pumpkin bread for lunch, no tea because having a child throw up on my shoes rather put me off

Well, my waistline is bigger than it was last week! I think I'm not drinking enough fluids, and I'm not eating enough, either. Difficult, this dieting, innit!?
