He just won't be told what to do, he thinks it's clever to cheat, or it doesn't matter...? It'll be toms today, cheese tomorrow and then back where he started
Oh dear, perhaps motivator was the wrong choice of word. It's a pity he's this way when you are so supportive. Oh well, good luck to him and especially to you TS!

    • I think I'll probably have put weight on this week because I've not been eating enough while I've been on leave. When I'm at work I count my points for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At home, I usually only eat dinner!

      • Mr TS had a better day, he stuck to his plan, and went for a walk at lunchtime instead of being tempted to the pub with his pals.

For dinner I made him turkey marinated in sundried tomato sauce, with posh pasta (black), salad and salsa. He had a plate full of food for under 420 cals

              You can do it
The walking is going to be really good for you.

I've taken everything out out of the house that's "bad" so now he can't snack. I'm only buying food with less than 3g of fat per 100g, and make meals out of that. Use a small plate or bowl, half of it is salad or veg, a quarter is protein (turkey/tuna/venison/fish) the other quarter is carbs (pasta/cous cous/noodles/rice).
Flavouring is vital, so I use lots of herbs, garlic & chilli

                  • Tea was one Mexican bean burger cooked in oven, two small jacket potatoes with a small amount of philly and baked beans, followed by grapes and coffee.

                          • My diet has all but disappeared...am currently on holiday in Asia (visiting dad) and have been for 2 weeks now...so much lovely, lovely food. I'm eating mainly indian food, only 2 meals a day (its waaay too hot for 3) and as a vegan theres not much crap you can eat. Eating lots of fruit and veg, drinking lots of water.

Haven't had any caffenie in 2 weeks and been sleeping very well (i don't really drink caffenie back in the UK, occasional cup of tea, but I have chronic sleep problems). Feel mentally better, my SAD has pretty much gone, feel much more positive. I hope this stays when I'm back in the UK (heading home tomorrow night), and if it does, I wreckon I'm on form to lose weight proper again - the last time I lost a load of weight was when I went to asia and sorted myself out. I only put it back on again as I got depressed - usually the trigger for weight gain.

Planning on getting back on my bike when I'm back in the UK - and getting back in the gym. Good luck to you all and I'll try and lasoo the sun and drag it home
