          • I've lost 3lb this week, and I don't know how! I've been steadily losing 1lb a week, which has suited me.

I haven't exercised for 3 weeks (following the stem cell donation) and I went out and ran 2 miles yesterday. I had some alcohol (first since New Year) and a chocolate pudding and ice cream over the weekend, plus several slices of home made ginger cake as well....

            • Not eaten any bread for well over a week, eating more fruit, walking more I dont drive everywhere anyway, ( proper walking ). Apart from philly light I havent had any cheese for a couple of weeks. Not sure if I have lost weight as the scales are iffy. I dont feel so bloated all the time so thats got to be a plus.

              • I'm more interested in how I feel, but I could fool myself about that. The scales are not so easy to pretend about!

No you don't, TS - have a hot drink and walk awaaaaaaaay from the Family Sized c&o. What's a big bag doing in your house anyway? (or are you out & about?)

                        • I was in Morrisons, I was miserable and hungry, what can I say? I'm also having a cheese n onion (and sweetcorn) bake for tea. What's with these cravings? Why does a bad back cry out for dairy products? (and my ovaries demand Crunchy Nut Cornflakes every month)

You need a treat TS, so go for it! You'll work it off I'm sure when your back is better and I hope that's soon.

                              • The following foods may be eaten without concern for quantity--eat until you are satisfied:

Meat: all unprocessed meats, including beef, pork, lamb, veal, mutton, venison, and ham. Bacon is allowed if it is not processed with sugar; if nitrite-free bacon is available, it is preferable.
Poultry: any unprocessed poultry, including chicken, turkey, goose, duck, cornish hens, pheasant, quail, ostrich, or emu.
Fish: all unprocessed fish, including tuna, salmon, catfish, trout, snapper, sole, sardines, herring, and any other fish.
Shellfish: any unprocessed shellfish, including oysters, clams, crab, shrimp, calamari, lobster, mussels, and scallops. Imitation crab or other imitation shellfish products are forbidden.
Eggs: any real eggs are allowed, including chicken, duck, quail, or goose.

I think you can have salad and veg, but no carbs. Wait for the experts JB, G4 and Snadger are both on it.
