Hopefully weight loss will improve after tuesday. I always give up alcohol for Lent, and this year coffee also. I like my coffee sweet, and artificial sweeteners just are not the answer, so switching to tea (less than half the sugar) and sparkling water instead of wine with supper, should help.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Another 300g dropped this week, that's 4lb since I started (it's harder to shift when you're near your target weight anyway)
Mr TS has lost about a stone and a half - his jeans now fall down off his hips. I wish he'd stop showing everyone thoughAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Well done everyone!!! Loads of weight being shifted I've done lots of gardening and eating no so much food this weekend, gonna get on my bike in the week and swimming twice next week too, so should be losing some. Only problem is every set of scales I go on seem to be broken as they are all a good few kilos out each time...do you all weigh at home on same scales?

The scales in the chemist are supposed to be much more accurate than home scales because they are professionally calibrated.
But weight loss is about the difference from where you started, so as long as you weigh yourself in the same circumstances each time (on the same scales on a hard floor wearing the same clothes at the same time each week), you will have a pretty good idea of what you are losing.
I'm not going to use the accurate Boots scales, though, as I weigh myself in the nuddy.Last edited by Hazel at the Hill; 06-03-2011, 06:39 PM.
