...................Exercise: run to shops, carry 40l bag of compost home from Aldi. This is heavy.
I made the mistake of buying a 100ltr bale of compost at the garden centre, which was already loaded onto a trolly.
It was only when I got the trolley to the car I realised how heavy a 100ltr bale is!

          • Breakfast dry-fried egg, thin rasher lean streaky bacon (grilled) glass milk
Lunch bread and marmalade, fizzy water
Supper cauliflower cheese 5 oven chips, rhubarb cobbler with custard fizzy water fruitjuice.

Exercise, walk dogs 30 mins, assist on survey, stand in kitchen to prepare food (not a lot of calorie use, but better than sitting down at computer), walk dogs 20 mins.

I like this 'list what you've been eating' thing, it helps concentrate the mind!

According to WalkJogRun Running Routes it's 250m. I think that how heavy compost is depends just as much on how wet it is as the no. litres.

Off topic, it's Aldi own brand organic compost - I'll be interested in seeing how it compares to New Horizon.

                    • We both had a 10 mile cycle in the sunshine - both pretty sleepy now. Both disciplined with food too: porridge: beans on 1 toast: roasted veggies

                        • Well, I'm mastering the exercise part, thanks to the Pup, and work, but not the food part! Will have to get back off the Carbs as soon as possible, so I'm not a wobbly lump for the summer!

                              • Lost a couple of pounds from last week so to celebrate, and because it was such a nice evening I went for a jog to see if i still had it in me, and whether my calf muscles would hold up.
Only jogged a couple of miles but was pleasantly surprised how easy it was even though I was red faced on my return.
For once the dog came back behind me instead of out in front!

I'd forgotten how much jogging bounces your brain around your bonce though!
