      • Woohoo, managed another day today without cheating myself and I managed to drink some water. Didn't like it, but drank it all the same.

            • I do find myself counting points as I did at WW. That way you can make sure there are enough points for the odd nice relaxing chilled dry white or two at the end of the busy working day

I've been under each day and the temptation is to use up my calories on another glass of wine Its that or be told off for not using enough calories!

                      • Morning All, feeling lighter already. Porridge on the menu this morning I think, after I've (hopefully) resisted my colleague's offer of a bacon and egg buttie at work.

                          • I had porridge too FF, with blueberries and strawberries.

Lost 2lbs yesterday at SW weigh in, tidy.

Forgot to bring lunch, I'll just have to wait until I'm home for tea

I've been filling in the myfitnesspal and back dated it to Monday. I like it, it persuaded me last night to go and do an hour on the bike.

                            • Have any of you seen Nanny Mcphee, Why is it that she starts off overweight, and ends up slim. Are they suggesting that to be fat is ugly?

                              • I am also on my own little quest to shed a bit of weight. I had to buy a bigger pair of trousers for work (couldn't get the old ones on without removing my wallet from the back pocket, and my wallet ain't exactly fat ). I also tipped 17 stone on the scales for the first time (albeit in jeans & boots etc). It was time something was done.

So on September 13th I bought a pushbike, with the intention of not using the car for any more short journeys (popping to the post office, etc). So for the last 5 weeks or so I've been on my bike. I've covered 268 miles, lost about 10lb and got quite a bit fitter. Can't believe how well it's going in such a short space of time.

So my tip is, buy a bike. Oh, and then use it.
