                          My daughter did a project on this, from what I can remember with me sieve like mind:
                          Famous People from Southampton
                          Drummer from Coldplay
                          Craig David (sorry!!)
                          Howard Jones (even more sorry)
                          John Everett Millais (painter)


                          Jane Austin lived around here
                          and little know fact, Southampton Ice rink is mentioned in A Town Like Alice....

                          Oh and John Denham MP

                              I was bought up near and worked in Reading and frequently used to drive through Cemetry Junction made famous by Ricky Gervaise. Oh, and I've just remembered Oscar Wilde wrote the ballad of Reading jail.
