Nothing here - no snow at all!

In fact, me and the dog were on the beach this morning. It was lovely and mild!

It's been quite dry here this morning, and most of the snow has cleared, but it's cold.

As Lj said when she starred in the Wizard of Oz:-

              "I'm melting"

              and so is the snow.

It's snowing so hard here now that I've just phoned Trousers to say if he doesn't leave work soon, he's going to get 'snowed OUT'.....!

It's snowing quite hard here, and there was a weather warning on local radio. Daughter's school closed again today, so looks like 'working from home' is in order. I have been out in the car this morning, and main roads are clear, but ungritted back roads are treacherous. Everything looks so pretty outside, but ashamed to say the novelty is beginning to wear off now.

Didn't realise that it was still snowing anywhere, all totally gone here and now it just looks a bit wet as usual.

Bang on Trousers, were all logged up, wood burner and open fire lit as having a dinner party tonight. As its snowing here now people might be staying over.

Tartelets just blind baked and a bottle of home made Sui-cider (6.5%) on the go with 6 bottles of a rather nice 96 Crianza to follow.

Who cares if its snowing, no work for me for 12 days Yiiippppeeeeeee!!!!!!

I hate to lower the tone but "gash" seems to mean something completely different here. Not a term I would use, it refers to a ladies groin

Was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure if I should mention it! Another meaning is just something waste or broken.

We've still not had any snow settle. Today has been dry but grey - it has turned a lot colder now, though.
