I am really not complaining, honest. I think gyo is an excellent mag and the forum is wonderful, I just didn't want to buy the same issue twice. BTW I think my daughter has been eating toast at the laptop agin so if there are any e a or s letters missing think this is due to crumbs under the keys

Can I just say that this afternoon after I spoke to them the Grow Your Own Subscription Team came onto the forum to explain that there had been a major problem with the on line subscription order system.

This problem has now been rectified.

4 - 8 weeks is the normal length of time it takes to set up a subscription to any magazine. It depends when the subscription was made and when the next magazine is due out.

If anyone has any problems at all with their subscription to Grow Your Own then please add them to this thread and I will ensure that the GYO Subscription Team answer them.

I would echo Lesley and say it is a general subscription problem rather than a GYO problem. I have subscribed recently to two other magazines, and it has been just the same. It really depends on where in the magazine publication month you subscribe. I think 8 weeks is the outside, so it could be alot shorter than that.

Sorry Eden - meant to say welcome to the Vine!!!!!

              Warm greetings!

              Hello all!
Glad to hear the subscriptions have been sorted, I'm sooooo impressed by the speediness of repsonses and how welcoming everyone is! My partner did have a good laugh after noticing under my name it said 'germinator' personally, I think it's cool!! Thank's Alice for all the other bits and pieces I can get involved in and have a look at, although it dawned on me that I have no pictures of my garden and any I do have are on the old fashioned kodak paper. I did get a digital camera for xmas so I'll start snapping when the garden is looking less drab! I'm a bit of a techno phobe you see, a very old at heart 36 year old, I work much better with a spade than a camera. As for working in a garden centre - very dangerous business indeed! It's very handy for getting the things I need but oooo the plants I've bought!! Just when you think you can't get anymore in those borders, I squeeze a few more in!
              cheers
              Eden

I subscribed not long after the magazine came out, and have all of them (may just need to invest in one or two of those snazzy binders). I can't remember how long it took to set up but don't recall it taking an age.

One thing that has improved hugely is the quality of the proofreading - the first few editions of the mag had some truly shocking typos and layout errors. DH used to laugh at me as I'd sit there reading it and muttering to myself every time I found a mistake Never stopped me buying it though.

I child-proofed my house, but they still manage to get in.

I've also recently subscribed, to pay by DD, but I don't seem to have an email acknowledging receipt of my details. Is it possible for someone to check to see it's being processed for me, please??

                    Thank you!
