    Anyone else seen this?

Now, I will admit I'm a fool for cookery programs. The only reason I started growing my own is so that I could cook it and anything by Jamie, Gordon or HFW always gets Sky+'d. But this thing is so over the top it's funny. I'm really sad because Martin Blunos and Nick Nairn are two of my favourite Chefs, to see them pimping themselves on this is a shame.

I couldn't watch it to the end very strange format and Ollie the wine buff from saturday kitchen drove me round the twist.

OH switched it on, what we both half saw/heard while making our own dinner, was not worth trying to watch another one. OTT, pointless, drivel...

Have seen the US version on the Food Network channel and laughed my ass off. Mostly cos its not meant to be funny, but its so OTT it cracks me up. Have not seen the UK one, I suspect its not the same entertainment-wise?

It was bad, i watched it hoping it would get better but it got worse. The commentator was bad but the presenter was terrible i saw him on the wright stuff he thinks hes way funnier than he is.

Saw the US version by accident and it happened to have Jamie on it... laughed all the way through and didn't even consider watching this series.

Love Ollie the wine buff, but as a wine buff. Saw the programme advertised, but thought I'd give it a swerve.

Haven't and won't watch "Iron Chef", as an old working chef of the non celeb kind (got my own local fanbase), I find this artificial "cheffy" situation highly irritating, I will watch Gordon and Jamie, anything by Delia(used to hate her but either I have mellowed or she just got better), serious proper cooking programs are a delight (Raymond Blanc!! my hero after Robert May, another French Chef) and not only entertain but educate aswell, as an old mate of mine probly still says "every days a school day" (hi Rob), Hugh Fernley Whitingstall or "Hugh fearlessly eatsall" can irritate but he seems so enthusiastic you just have to admire him.

I tried for 10 mins and had to turn it off. Really bad TV. I am passionate about cooking and this was truly awful.
