Hey lizziel. Saw your post again yesterday. You could try an Asian tailor, prob- Indian. Fabric called Mulmul. It's proper muslin, they can do design on it called "chicken". It's the in thing at the moment in the fashion world. Check it out. Dincur

OMG zazen you've only gone and broken a local urban myth. Theres been whispers of this place for years but no one's ever given me the correct address and here it is.

When I said I wanted the thread closed due to cronic financial ruin I didnt realise it would be mine Luckily it's just a little too far for a quick nip there and back in my poopoo pit of a car - phew!

Please - for the sake of your finances - stay AWAY from google.

Luckily my car is super poorly - I try to plans journeys as straight as possible cos it makes weird noises when I turn right and sadly a stack of bills before I can even think of going any where near somewhere like THAT shop.

Mind you, I am kinda intrigued.....

Thanks jeanied but seriously I've decided to give it a miss for the time being. It's not meant to be at the moment otherwise I'd have won the ebay material. Ive got net up at the windows at the moment so it's not urgent. I'll keep my eye on the ebay lady in case she has any more.

Good luck at the dentist XXX

Jules!! Off to the naughty step with you young lady!

Welcome back, nice to see you.

I do not for 1 second believe that you're short a yard or 2 of lovely fabric I got the book but not the fabric yet - I'm thinking sheep not rabbits made from recycled nappies.....

And as for your link - a collective sigh all round the country from bank managers, husbands, partners and sewers alike. LOL (shame really though & I'm NOT clicking on the store locator button).

Now then, are you the person to explain bias and how I can 'spot' it when I'm quilting.

Do you have a Dunhelm Mill shop near you, they sell muslim and voiles. Also Laura Ashley used to sell something similar some time ago you could check out their web site. Hope you find what you want, know what you mean re those programmes to beat bids on ebay i lost so many pairs of curtains till we got our bedroom ones now. Good luck getting what you want. :-)

I asked you about the website because I used to work in a shop with fabrics-some of them were so lovely...same things with seeds-want this, this and that,but...do you really need them?
