Am I blind, stupid or just a bloke?

I went to a party recently, full of Frenchy types, most splendid. As the evening progressed, it became fairly clear that one of the laydeez was more drunk than the rest of them as she started to become a bit familiar.
After a discussion, she told me that she had been tipping her hat in my general direction since the last Mme Leponge had left, but I hadnt responded at all.
Somewhat confused I told her I didnt respond as I saw no signs. This was treated with much mirth by all the laydeez at the soiree, who apparently all knew what was going on except me.
Are all blokes as blind as me or is it just me?

We blokes are generally surrounded by a fog when it comes to girlies fluttering their eyelashes at us. In general a much more direct and obvious approach is the best way for us to see the obvious.

Saying that, the laydeez can be just as oblivious and require batting about the head with a bit of 4 x 2.

I think it's a bit of both. Women really do speak a different language so what's obvious to them isn't obvious to us. I don't know if it's your thing, but I really enjoyed the book 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' all about this.
But that's not the important thing, the important thing is what are you going to do next?
