Well don BM! at 6 months you've really beaten it! As for the weight gain...I stopped just over 2 years ago and put on 2 stone in the interim! Didn't mind as I was more chuffed at stopping the evil weed. Have now lost about a stone and a half of that, so am feeling pretty good. It all takes time, but is really really worth the effort and grumpiness (although my OH may not agree!). So a BIG WELL DONE, great achievement...

Very well done BM, six months is a real achievement, I'm sure you must feel better for it. Don't worry too much about the weight gain, I'm sure with the weather getting a bit better you'll be outside gardening and burning it off

Lol! Its not good is it..it took me longer to lose the weight from quitting smoking than it did to quit (although that took numerous goes). Been stopped about 10 years now.

Thank you so much for all those kind words. With regards to saving cash, I wish!....I used to spend £5 a week on roll ups (always bought baccy abroad) I told myself the saving I made paid for the next holiday.......
I now spend £30 playing badminton 3 times a week. Wish I could have gotten into running with Mrs BM but it wasn't for me. Congrats must go out to all other grapes who have quit, I feel selfish.
