      Thanks for that.
I asked the fella about this stuff, he was very knowledgeable, but advised that in a garden like mine without trees over the top it should be okay. I might just need to pressure wash it or use a stiff brush on it from time to time to make sure that algae doesn't form on it.
If it does start to get slippery I'll definitely coat it.

            Hi Ollie

Your decking looks fab! Very nice indeed. (I also really like your big trellis fence for climbing beans etc).

I like your BBQ idea but I imagine that it could get too smoky to sit round, we always have problems with smoke and about 5 of us have to take it in turns to be chef and deal with the smoke. Although this might be because we always put our food on too early, rather than waiting for the true hot white coals....!

My personal opinion is that gas BBQs offer more convenience in that you can keep them going as guests come and go, easy to reignite, better heat distribution etc but I dont think you get the proper charcoal-y BBQ taste, to my untrained palate they might as well have been done under the grill, so for me charcoal wins every time. Wonder which is better/worse for the environment - probably no difference? Just wondered... Anyway...(Sorry went off on one!! )

Very snazzy Ollie, but tell me...exactly which Dremel Multi Tool attachments were used for the construction of this masterpiece?

I agree, Helgalush - the charcoal smell and taste is delicious and to my mind is essential for a true barbecue taste.

Ollie either that barbecue is very tall or you've shrunk!

Hmmm, I believe they used the following:

                      1) The Dremel brick laying attachment with integral mortar mixer
                      2) The decking saw attachment
                      3) The nail gun attachment

                      and last but not least...
                      4) The patio furniture assembly attachment

                      How'd I do Boss?

Nice! I do hope it isn't actually attached to the house wall (hard to tell from the photos)? I can't help being a Surveyor's assistant!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

No it's not. It's actually not even attached to the ground. It's on a concrete surface so it's just made free-standing. There's no-where it can move to.

EDIT: What difference would attaching it to the house make?
