I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
Thank you everyone..started by catching mouse that had mown down 1/2 my peas and sweetcorn.....I did have a good day. Mrs P let me off work to the potting shed to start the day. Then got the mower out from under lots of cider bottles in the shed.(disgracefully have not even done my lawn once...despite strimming whole allotments and mowing cricket wicket)..got it going...stalling...sharpened blade...still stalling...gave it up as a bad job and went to the lottie to cut some sparrows grass ...plus a couple of tinnies with my mate. Duck and aforementioned asparagus plus lovely pakchoi....best I've grown for dinner...all washed down with Red burgundy. Could have been worse eh!
No, actually, I think you'll find that you are all excused in Paulottie's eyes, and that Wellie and Trousers are the rotten apples in this barrel of excuses, and I hang my head in shame.
On the plus side, I shall not remember to wish him a happy birthday on time next year either, and nor do I expect him to do so for me.
