I think the female chest shows more sign of ageing due to the effects of gravity on the breasts stretching skin which looses elasticity as we grow older thus making the skin look wrinklier when the breasts are supported by a bra. However if all these makeover programmes are to believed (yes I watch some out of shear boredom) then a correctly fitted bra can help resolve these issues.

Now I would prefer it if there were no questions as to how a man of 37 knows so much about mature chests please.

The weight of breasts, even small ones, has a drag effect on the skin of the upper chest, however well-fitting your bra is. I was always concerned about my neck, then one day I caught sight of all the lines revealed by a lowish necked top!!!

Mine just disappear .........they don't get as far as the armpits.
