Clover

while I have been digging up my garden to fill my new large raised bed I noticed I have no clover,just grass (horrid grass at that!)
So today I have decided that I am going to dig up the grass from my garden and grow a clover lawn.I have just ordered white clover seeds which will take 7-10 days to arrive which gives me a chance to dig and level my lawn and make sure all the grass has gone.
I'm so excited I just had to share it with somebody...four leaf clover hunting here we come

Sounds great, love to see clover. Might be an idea for my little fron garden, although it has currently been completely taken over by buttercups

My dad has just planted red clover, but about 12 acres of it!

I love clover,I always find four leaf clovers...they just jump out at me
I'm not too worried about the bee's I love having them visit and when I'm in the garden I've always got something on my feet you never know what could be lurking lol

That's just what I've been thinking about doing,Swansea girl. Thought it would make a change from boring grass and encourage our failing bees. Did you get the seeds on line?

yep bought them from Victoriana Nursery Gardens - Quality Seeds & Plants but have since found Wildflowers, Wild Grasses and Mixtures | Emorsgate Seeds ? (01553) 829 028 which includes P&P ,I got the white clover because it stays lower to the ground...no mowing
