  • Absolute nightmare week

Item 1) Zebedee throws a RIGHT wobbler at work and explodes. Having ripped the Centre Manager apart I turn on the Area Manager. Then Zebedee emails head office.

Item 2) Visit from head office to investigate complaint.

Item 3) Daughter in hospital having baby. Really taking its time. Text message - go to hospital. Text message - don't go yet, and so on.

Item 4) Really sleepless nights waiting for the above

Item 5) Eldest son getting married Saturday - I'm best man. Haven't prepared speech yet.

Item 6) Local news - Northwood House (registar office) not doing weddings any more due to safety concerns. Panic stations.

Item 7) Panic over - closure not happening until September.

I am much too old for this sort of thing! I am on holiday for two weeks. Guess where I am going to be spending my time?

Hmmm. Dep breath, count to ten and sing...

        'Things, can only get better...'

It'll all work out - it always does - but good luck with it all anyway!

            Zebedee...time for bed!
Take deep breaths & slow down, everything's getting on top of you but it will all pass & you'll survive.
The wedding will be great & even if you've not got a prepared speech with your wit & wisdom I'm sure what you say will go down well!
The baby is sitting in there biding it's time waiting for grandad to calm down & get some spare time so he can get there in one piece!
Weather reports look pretty good for the near future.
            Hope everything turns out fine!

At least it's all happening at once so you can get it all out of the way and then enjoy the wedding and the new grandchild.

I really can't tell you how relieved I am now that my daughter's wedding is over - it was wonderful, but the relief once it's over is great!
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

Take yourself to your favourite place with a couple of pictures of any particular female chef you care to mention and soothe your worried mind.

Stressful times, but seeing that grandchild will make you smile like you never thought possible.

Chillax Zeb, all will become beautiful when grandchild arrives and son is wed. Will you be in your garden with your mobile?
