Well,I'm glad you lot all understood it because I am totally baffled!
I didn't watch it from the beginning but have followed it for a few weeks, and thought the ending would make everything fall into place and become crystal clear - but I'm even more confused now.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what was going on? Did she die? Were they all dead? Was Gene a goodie or a baddie in the end?

Mmmmhh what can I say. Only started watching it a few weeks ago and Mr Frosty and I have been trying to figure it out. Jimbo = baddie/devil, Gene Hunt - an Angel of Mercy (scary thought), all of the others are dead but they don't realise it. We quite liked it but it was weird. Might have understood it better if we had watched from the beginning.

One of my ending theories was right (who Gene really was)...OH wouldnt have it, thought it was too surreal. (Dont worry I am not revealing anything for those who have not seen it)
That comes from reading Agatha Christie as a child and watching cop shows/sci fi altherative reality stuff all my life I guess....(feeling slightly smug )
Still it was sad to see the end of Gene Hunt - such a wonderful character. I would have liked to see Sam, like you Smallfrog, but it made sense that he wasnt there.
The Keats character was interesting, not sure I liked the religious undertones (Not the group )
I say no more.....
