I don't wear pescription glasses but I do wear polaroid sunglasses for driving and for fishing. I find they cut the glare off wet surfaces when driving and I don't tend to squint which gives me a migrane .
I wouldn't have to think about it - get the polaroids - you might find them a bit "funny"* at the start but once you get used to them you will never want to be without them.
* by funny I mean how the world will look with a slightly different tint to what you are used to.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.
