you need to remember to slip, slap, slop like we tell the reception children.
slip on a t shirt (with sleeves)
slap on a sun hat
slop on the sun creamWhen weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

I rarely get burnt any more, because I don't risk it. I never sunbathe (on the naturist beach in Spain I use a beach umbrella, and loads of sunscreen [a water-resistant one sold for kids] as well as sometimes keeping my sunhat on to swim) I rarely wear anything sleeveless, and not that often short sleeved, and the main problem I have with the sun is it makes my eyes hurt (oddly enough, it's not as bad in Spain as a very sunny day here, but perhaps that is because I believe in Siesta!)Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
