Sorry folks but I am in super hyper mode tonight
I got a phone call this morning from Medwyn Williams to tell me that he had won his 11th Chelsea RHS medal. I said that was great Medwyn.
Oh but there is better news than that he says, I have won the Presidents award for the best exhibit in the pavillion. I said that is tremendous Medwyn.

So there I am tonight watching the RHS show when on he comes and they have great shots of all my potatoes on it. Yes I did get a bit excited at this point but it was once Alan Titchmarsh stated that Medwyn had beaten 600 world class exhibits that it really sunk in.

Basically the seed potatoes that I have supplied him with have produced the best potatoes he has ever had at Chelsea and he thinks thats why he won.
I feel like I have been part of this achievement and I am delighted for the Williams family who have put so much work into their display.

I think I need a rest now(system overload)

Yes it has been some week for me so far. On Sunday a film called Native son was shown at the Cannes film festival which was shot on our farm using our machines etc etc and was about a lonely potato picker. I was excited about that but now I have this aswell.
What an unbelievable week.
Somebody had better stop me because I have a crazy urge to open a can of red bull(too late tssshh glug glug glug)
I hope you can all share in my glory with me.

I should warn you that I might stop making sense soon.
I have already had my first idea inspired by jeanied. How about I do all of Medwyns prize winning potatoes in small packs and call it Medwyns Chelsea Collection!!!
That would be a great way to kick off next season.
