          Eskimo,thats the drink I always use when any of my lot are ill.Mind you,I'm just getting over flu and a nasty chest infection and was to ill to make any for myself!Hope you are feeling abit better Snadger

            Try High strength vitamin C (100mg dissolvable tablets) - taste like crushed up refreshers! once per day and regular paracetamol.

            And get pissed... won't help and you'll get even more dehydrated but you won't care!

              Hot toddies - honey to ease the sore throat, lemon for the vitamin C, and whisky for the alcohol so you don't feel the pain

                I think we might need to try some as there is three of us now coughing & sneezing & hubby is threatening to go to his mums until we all get better, so much for him looking after us

                  Must be quite a virulent strain I have if you can catch it off a forum!!

                  Tried Tunes soaked in Vodka ....that didn't work, think I'll hit the Chillie Vodka now and try and burn the bl**dy flu out! Isn't having a cold so jolly!!!!

                    I'd go with the secon line. Can't beat a hot toddy with Honey in. My Aunty used to have honey instead of sugar and she never suffered with a cold.

                    Anway Snadger what are you doing witha cold, I saw one of your fellow country men on thursday night - he was about 30 stone with his Newcastle scarf tucked under his man boobs wasn't you was it
