Why are always the best ideas already taken?

Whilst driving back home yesterday I was chatting to LadyWayne and told her about an idea I'd thought of.

It involved advertising using your car. You know, like you see on taxi's and buses and so on. It came to me a while back when considering how to promote our business, and I thought about using our reps cars - common practise already in many places.

Anyways, I thought that you could 'sell' advertising space on your car - dependent on how many miles you drive, how much space you're willing to allocate etc.

Seems someone else already had the idea...

Oh well, back to the how do I get out of this place drawing board.

Thats not a bad idea Wayne, I would have not thought of that, you should still pursue the idea.

It's a good idea. I showed my sister, who's just brought a new car, and she's quite keen on the idea. I wonder how many advertisers they actually get though as you don't see many cars with it on.

Most business ideas (bar 1) I come up with have already been taken. I still have given two other ideas a go, and they were successful whilst running.. I'd give it a go if you have the time.
