I have just watched 'deal or no deal'. The young woman dealt at £41,000 but had £100.000 in her box.
In my opinion money cannot buy happiness. How feel you...
I've never had mega bucks and I'm never likely to so I cant answer properly, but I do know that if I could be financially secure I would accept whatever grumpiness came my way.

Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.
Yes of course it would. My dad used to say the only people who say 'money doesn't matter to me' are either very rich or very poor.
I don't neccessarily agree with that but I would love to have loads of money.... I think I can say without doubt I would be happier if I could retire now with no mortgage: have help with home and garden - I would have a big walled garden and be self sufficient but would to pay someone to run it whilst I spent half the year abroad visiting friends in Australia and holidaying in the USA. I reckon five million would do it.... that's not mega rich is it?
yes, absolutely definately!!! - it would be so nice to be able to cope with lifes ups, downs and tragedies, without having the extra burden of money worries; hardly having enough to get through each month, without having to worry about the extras that crop up.
Having enough money that I could get out of a job that has become frustrating (as the higher ups no longer seem to care about anything but profit) would make me a much happier person!
Having enough money to be able to buy enough land to live a self sufficient low impact way of life, GYOing, keeping bees and livestock, harvesting wood for fuel for building and heating and cooking, generating our own energy from solar, wind and water power would definitely make me a much happier person, but having money for moneys sake wouldnt make me happy. Its what you do with the money that matters, how it can change your life for good that matters, not having it mouldering in a bank or being able to buy the latest gadget, that does nothing for me personally!
Nope money can't make you happy. I'm not rolling in it by any means, live in a teeny one bed, can pay my bills and save. But money can't buy me what I want most in this world and would make me the happiest person ever.
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
Enough people's relationships flounder because of lack of money, how ever hard people try not to let 'no money' matter. So it seems a stupid statement put about by people with money to keep it from those without, to say money can't make you happy.
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
It would mean I would be able to do the job that I want to, rather than the one I do. (Which I do like but its not the one I really want to do) My OH would not have to work in an awful job which he hates, but he has to, cos we need the money to pay the bills, mortgage etc.
It would mean I could actually afford to go on holiday anywhere and anywhen.
I could pay for my daughters and son to go to uni, so they dont have massive debts at the end of it.
I could pay for my dad to go on the trip of his dreams and also have private hospital treatment and make sure he's comfortable when the time comes (He has terminal cancer)
Thats just for a start...
So to answer the question if we had some money our lives would be better.
