  • YAY! It's half term!

Some people had theirs last week - ours is this week.
For those parents amongst you, this may not be good news, but for me as a teacher, it most certainly is and I have plans.

Not really any point to my post except to say that I'm really hoping to make headway in the garden this coming week. However, I've given myself so many jobs to do (gardening & wedding planning , decorating , plus the obligatory school work ) I'm not sure how much will actually get done. Fingers crossed that the weather is on my side.

Ho Hum. It'll only be 5 weeks until the Easter break.

Love half term too - roads were loads less busy last week, back to the usual grid lock again on Monday though.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I too am a teacher and have just had a great half term. Little sprouts and I have spent lots of time down the plot. Drank lots of coffee in Marks and Sparks ( they now do a Babycino for children at 50p) She thought she was so grown up!
Just crammed my planning in to an hour this evening so i could catch up on the vine.!

Mid term here starting this week. love it because my grandson will come and stay over. Don't see so much of him now since he went to secondary school.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Is that right? Coffee for children? Do they really need the extra energy?

Its not coffee - it is frothy milk with choc on top just to look like mums!

I look forward to that when Miss EB is a little older. She already goes for the froth on my cappucino but isn't sure about the rest of it.

We are two days in and despite spending yesterday out and about I'm starting to feel frustrated. I'm actually very tired and in need of a break but although I have two weeks off I'm unlikely to feel very rested by the time I go back to work as next week is decorating and tidying and clutter clearing with Mr EB home.

              Ho Hum!

I keep telling myself to relax and go with the flow but when it's water and paint and soap everywhere it can get a bit tense.
