Is there only me thinks we will win this afternoon. Walking round work, I have never heard so much negativity........Yes they have been rubbish so far but are still unbeaten. It could be one for the pub quizzies in a few years........Name the team that got sent home without losing a match.........I hope not.

Scotland - cannot remember what year but according to Maureen they didn't lose a match but didn't make it through to the next round

There have been many teams unbeaten and arrived home before their postcards, Scotland definitely, I also seem to recall Chile and Mexico having the same fate in years gone by.

I also think England will win this afternoon, yes they have been poor, very poor, but I have a feeling that things will be slightly better this match. Still dont seeing us fulfilling Motty's prediction of an Argentina England final though.

Was delighted at the French effort yesterday, but am disgusted at Domenech's refusal to shake the S.A. coach's hand, very poor indeed.

Me too BM, but we're through I think that's all that counts at the moment. OH's just rang me..he's in Magaluf with his mate's...he said B.C.M square was wet through with all the beer that went up in the air when England scored .

We have a large screen in Leeds in Millennium Square (facing where I work so it was handy). I was there with another 10,000. The atmosphere was brilliant.

If you want to win the World Cup, you have to beat all comers, shouldnt really matter who we play, if we're good enough we'll win, if not, we wont.

And I dont think we are, sadly.
