you're not joking Torreya, and its taken me two slow read throughs to pronounce it, lol

Its Hilly, cos I joined originally for rule the roost and Hilly was one of my first three chooks. She was named after Sir Edmund Hilary the explorer because every time time you looked round the little begger was climbing somewhere, or running somewhere, or investigating everything. You'd see a red blur go past, ar hear a sqwauak and a thud and when any one said 'what's that' the answer was always 'It's Hilly of course'.

Sadly she met a fox....but it's a nice way to remember her...and that's her on the wheelbarrow, helping as usual

Descriptive, really. Because 'slightly scruffy, slightly weird, drawer of the pension' was a bit wordy.

Twas my OH who registered on the Vine and then didn't have much time to join in. I tried to register , but back in the old days you couldn't have 2 peeps using the same IP address ( or something like that) - so I took over his name after about the first 5 posts.

Why Nicos?- well you'll have to ask him!!!!

And yes-I am regularly mistaken for a bloke on the Vine- but certainly not in real life!!!
