When you come down here to collect your plum trees Nicos, I'll get Mme Pastis to take you shopping whilst me and Mr N sit and discuss the contents of my rhubarb schnapps bottles.

I think I'm going to hire out eldest as a personal shopper. She's bossier than Gok with just as much style. My neighbour loves it when she has a clear out.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Similar wardrobe to mine Nicos apart from the ballgown
Dont try to rush from casual to smart. Find some tidy trousers or jeans which fit comfortably but well, add some pretty tops and accessories, and a smart blazer/jacket. That will get you through most situations. Wear trous and tops for day/casual, add accessories and blazer for evening/smart.
i feel uncomfy in shorter skirts so wear ankle/mid calf dresses or skirts. Again plain or pretty tops days and add accessories or a glamerous top for eves.
I like Simply Be, La Redoute, Next, and Kalidescope, and oddly Joe Brown (who do do a bigger size selection) but look around, see what you like then pick the bits that suit your shape (size really doesnt matter it's shape) and style.
You could always get someone to send you Trinny and Suzanna's What Not To Wear. I dont like their taste but their advice on what styles suit what shape is spot on
Take your time and most importantly, HAVE FUN.

Went shopping yesterday - got nice black jeans in Gemo and a pretty T shirt. Then got a great stripey t shirt with silver wings on the back - hahaha as I'm SUCH an angel.....(not what I'd usually buy but I thought it would make Mr PN laugh) and a pretty top in La Halle aux vetements. There are LOADS of nice clothes out there in all shapes, colours and sizes. You just have to take the time and try everything on.
