Note to self - remember to label stuff before putting in the freezer
Any left overs, are placed in a tuperware box - and topped up with whatever left overs are present the day after, and so on for a month. At the end of the month, she makes a soup out of it all, sometimes it's alright, othertimes I flush it (she doesn't know this of course) - but it's a free lunch for a day or two out of what would have been waste.
You don't leave the PC still logged in here then?
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right. Edited: for typo, thakns VC
Pies are easy, just make a 'label' out of left-over pastry and apply it to the top as a decoration (A might be apple or apricot, but both used the same way so OK). Some other things are trickier, but I can usually tell by the sort of packagin used.
If I buy meat in a pack too big to use all at once, I put the supermarket label between the last 2 layers of wrapping.
I have made 'enthusiasm soup', but never from frozen mixed leftovers!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
We've had some very random mixed grills in the past, all the meat looks the same when frozen - have to wait till it's thawed and cooked to find out what we've got!
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
