Yup, it's too hot. Had to do the town & supermarket thing today and it nearly killed me... I was a very naughty girl on the way home and put the air-con on in the car

It IS nice not having to worry about blight, but, a good downpour would be nice. Just for a day?!

We got to 22c today (a record!) but as always, we had a cooling, ie. chilly, sea breeze.

I don't tolerate heat brilliantly, but really can't complain about the sunshine, its so uplifting after a grotty winter.

The heat on the ward is unbearabe though, resulting in very irritable patients (as if they haven't got enough to contend with already) and sweaty, thirsty staff.

Someone had to go and do it..Piskie...its peeing down where I am, lol.
Actually its been blazing this w/e up till now, which has been lovely in one way cos we've been doing a diy move and haven't had to worry about moving boxes in the rain. But we've sweated buckets sitting in a lorry in the hot sun for 2.5hrs at a go.
As I turned off the Mway with the lorry on its way back to the hire depot it started to spit, and as I arrived it started to pour. Not complaining, the ground is so dry it was desperately needed. But my chooks will need their water wings on tomorrow...

Cold, wet, wind or shine is OK with me. Particularly shine. I must have a good thermostat.

Spent the weekend in a tent which was pretty much unbearable as there was no shade anywhere. Seems to have been a bit cooler up here thankfully so everything survived but could have done with more rain last night. At this rate we'll be on hose pipe bans by mid July - would prefer the weather to be somewhere in the middle, not too hot or cold.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
