I know I'm a cynical old b***er - but what's the betting the councils will review the installations as a home improvement of such consequence to move peeps into the next paying bracket?

Not in our area sadly and as we both work wouldn't qualify for grants etc.

Do plan to have them one day, when we have enough coming in to finance the installation. Good luck BM

I have looked it inside out, read up lots of info & it's genuine. They plan to make there money by selling the electric you don't use back to the grid. I'm in discussions with them at the moment as I have a full width conservatory & they need to put scaffold up. That may just ruin it for me, we shall see, they have been quick in response to emails asking for dimensions etc.

I've thought about getting solar panels put up, but for the outlay, and years to get some sort of return (am I right in it being 10-15) - we decided not to, incase we move within that time frame (which, depsite just moving into this house - I'm planning on moving again then).

I believe this company are talking about a 25 year plan to cover their costs & make a profit.
