in agony!!

Got through Ofsted last week, then at weekend at school fete tripped and fell over some PE mats someone had left around a corner on floor, landed badly, passed out with pain, shoulder, arm, wrist, elbow very swollen, had x ray to shoulder no visable damage but doc reackons pulled ligament. In total agony, typing using other hand one finger method. Have had to take week off, can't use right hand without much pain. Am pretty miserable and lottie being ignored again.
Have so much to do, ie reports etc but cannot even make a cup of tea, feel like a real wimp and am feeling sorry for myself.

...now- just makes sure someone gets a chair out in the garden- and get yourself a good book- make lists of what you'll need to do when you can- and then relax without guilt- I bet after the Ofsted you would benefit greatly from a few days to yourself.

Ouch I know how you feel, I fell between the car and a sixfoot sandstone wall inbetween Chrismas and New Year on the ice and did a similar thing also damaged my wrist and thumb at the same time which had to be splinted so I really do feel for you. The thing that troubled me most was getting comfy enough to sleep. I hope you feel better soon

So sorry to hear about your accident Miffy.
I wont say relax because if it were me i would be so frustrated at not being able to do all the things i had planned.
Just try to take it easy and be assured your allotment will still be there when you are better and back to yourself.

thanks guys, swelling in hand has gone down lots since saturday, still really painful but getting better, going to try and get back to school on Monday and see how i go! Missing children as much as anything.
