This afternoon I noticed a not too pleasant smell in the kitchen. I emptied the fridge disposing of all bits and pieces best dumped. Then decided that the freezer needed defrosting (and it is a big cabinet freezer) so got a duvet down to cover the contents while said freezer defrosted. In the meantime the smell was still hanging in the air so started to investigate the plugholes. They were decidedly grotty so filled them with bleach and bicarb and boiling water. The smell persisted so studied the under sink plumbing. Off came one pipe and then another

what a load of gunge. Eventually all the piping was removed and cleaned. What a sense of relief SORTED! Then came the task of reassembling it. A bit like a Rubik puzzle. So that's where I am at the moment....contents of freezer defrosting on the kitchen floor awaiting action. The sink is inoperative so I have poured a glass of wine and decided to have a moan.
