I work in the sales dept. of a company that makes sandwiches (assistante commerciale). Doesn't sound very glamorous, but I love it. Very varied work and nice people. All helped by the fact that I love where I live and work.

Chris, I hope your wife doesn't read this forum! Your name WILL be mud!!!

I work part time as a Staff Nurse, mostly in orthopaedics and trauma at the moment.
I'm also qualified as a reflexologist and reiki practitioner but don't do so much of that these days sadly.
Would really like a change it career.

Retired, and unlike Scarey, I'm NOT missing work. I love having time to do such a variety of things. I worked as a senior administrator in Education but latterly felt my job was largely producing statistics for the government to mis-use.

Now I pea-breed, chicken wrangle and get involved in loads of things in the village. I knit, quilt, I'm a member of the T'ai Chi class, the Britain in Bloom group - I wouldn't have time for all this if I worked.

Like Vicky, I'm a jobbing gardener. I started just under two years ago, after redundancy, struggled a bit, but it's taken off this year, so I'm now just about fully booked!

                    And knackered!

I'm managing a project to get organic veggie gardens up and running in 5 charity schools for kids with behavioural difficulties or disabilities. Before that I used to be a spreadsheet worrier, before that I was snr mgt in the largest training provider in Europe; but I'm ok now.

I'm an Estimator for a large window company (but looking for something else). But luckily I'm on maternity leave until November. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to work as my other half was made redundant last year and hasn't found a new job yet, but I'm happy for him to stay at home and look after the little un once I go back.
