We could, but we need a choreographer or instructions, and I think we should set a time so we all do it together. Plus if we need to do it naked can it please be after dark? I don't want to upset the neighbours.

No, but I do know a sure fire method to stop it raining.

Whilst it is raining, put a load of plants from the greenhouse outside that will benefit from the rainwater. Within a very short time - no rain.

Any raindancers in this area would be much appreciated! We've had on average 29 degrees for the past 10 days and the humidity is really uncomfortable. There is clay soil in this area so any light shower we've had just runs off because the ground is rock hard.

I'm not wearing much anyways so stripping off for some rain is not a problem!

That might be ok for you BK, but some of us have birthday suits that need ironing.

Reckon if you stand there and it rains you can get all plumped up again? Like rehydrating a raisin?

Send some down here please Miffy. No rain forecast for next week down here either, in fact it's supposed to get hotter again midweek. Can see we're gonna end up with a hosepipe ban if this carries on

We normally get Scottish weather here, stuck out in the North Sea as we are. We now seem to be having SW France's.
It's lovely to see the sun every day, and our north facing house is pretty cool (though freezing in the winter), but even I - who doesn't water the garden much ever - have had to go out with the water cans every evening to stop things dying.

I've lost half my strawb plants, a third of my spuds, and nearly everything that I'd just planted out before the heatwave struck: parsnips, celeriac.

It's been the driest 6 months for 80 years

Never mind about the rain dance (except for the Grapes in the South East who are still not going to get any rain this week - sorry) You need to start tying things down in your gardens cause I have the weather you guys are getting during the week. I've just spent the last two hours tying everything in sight down with rope. My old neighbour took pity on me and handed me more rope over the fence. I know I'm a misery guts but really it's Autumn here Where's Summer? How are my tomatoes going to ripen?
