Still awaiting confirmation, but my 'interview' (chat) with the fourth director went very well and he said during the chat "we need to get this moving then". They're just working out exactly what the job will be, how much they'll pay me and so on.

Don't want to count my chickens, but I'm very confident...

Well, subject to me agreeing to the contract (which is likely), I should start with the agency on the 6th September. I am currently typing this on the laptop they've given me to get set up etc, and my mobile phone has been ordered.

Project/contract work at the moment so it will mean time sheets/expenses etc which I'm not used to, but could work out. There are a number of other projects they have sitting ready to go/get started so should have work for a longer period and the aim is to get me as a full time employee.

                Phew.

Also keeping options open and have an interview next week for a more local/stable job, but it's less money (advertised) so we'll see.

Out of the blue a dude from my old place called to let me know I had an email sent to me there (from my old boss who thought he had my private email address but didn't) to offer me a job in Germany. Madniss. Said for him (old boss) to call me to talk about it.

It's a crazy world people. Crazy.

Well, first client visit today and the project got underway proper. Pays the bills, but it's not exactly 'exciting'.

Henyway, second interview for preferred job tomorrow and I'm quietly confident but we'll see. Also have another interview next week (unless tomorrow goes as hoped), and contacted by another agency today about another position.

Things could be a lot worse. A lot worse.

Oh, and another job/project that I am trying to speak to someone about but keep missing each other.
