I'm not one for making or eating jams, but when I saw your recent recipe on the vine for rhubarb and vanilla jam I thought I might give it a try next year.

We spent quite a bit of time in both the poultry and homecraft tents so I will have definately seen your entries.

Did you go into the horticultural tent? We put some veg in to the show. The 1st place carrots and cucumber were ours! hehe. We came 2nd and 3rd in the small tomatoes. 3rd in the cauliflowers and a 3rd for our 30inch long parsnip. Did you see those leeks and onions!!!!!!!!! They were incredible! The same chap will enter into Garstang so I suppose they will be even bigger and better!

I'll be entering into the Garstang as well so I'll keep a look out for your jam and poultry.
